Serious and Sexy

Recommended by the "So You'd like to start wearing cologne" guide on amazon (of which I bought and reviewed them all) this cologne is another almost perfect male fragrance. The term that comes to mind in this case is "EQ". It just has a perfect range of scents that are very well balanced between bass mids and high notes. It is not too citrusy like many other colognes that I happen to like it is more serious and definitively male. Comparatively it is a more serious version of TOMMY more sex-scent oriented than HUGO and has a broad spicy mid-range. Cool Water is a great smelling cologne. I used to be an Eternity man and once wore it on a first date. When I went on a spur of the moment second date with the same person I borrowed a friends bottle of Cool Water for a quick spray. A few days later when I was talking to the girl on the phone I happened to mention the need to purchase some more Eternity. She quickly informed me that whatever it was that I was wearing on our second date smelled great on me and to stick to it. Great fragrance for both women and men

This perfume is actually for women and men. It gives you the scent of a newly blossoming flower: Fresh sweet and warm. Not too overbearing this is perfect for an evening of casual dinner and lounge in winter and early spring. This is in contrast to my Calvin Klein's "Obsession Night" for men which is also great but is quite sharp and wearing too much of it might scare away ladies that just want to get to know you first. Smells great many compliments

This is a very concentrated spray I took a chance and purchased this Eau De Parfum only having sampled the lighter version at sephora.



Parfums have a much more concentrated scent and they last much longer and require less on application this lasted once until the next morning after a long night out.



This is very gourmand in other words its smells like something so delicious you would want to eat it! Its also very oriental check basenotes for further information. The girls want to eat you alive with this on!

Amzing but short lasting

I absolutley love the scent. And most of the women around me would describe it as such. I Am King is the King

I am a Diddy fan but I was still a little skeptical about buying cologne from him not everyone should venture into this domain (have you ever smelled Micheal Jordans cologne). This has become one of the strongest reciever of compliments getters I have in colognes. I have tried many others but this slowly becoming one of my favorites (D&G The One is really something else).

This is a very lemony smell and the sugar takes away the sour 'edge' of the lemon. David DeAngelo approved

I first heard about Marc Jacobs from listening to David DeAngelo's monthly interview series (October). I went out to the mall to get a whiff of this stuff and it is incredible (If there was only a way to smell stuff over the internet :) ). If you could smell confidence then this is what it would smell like. It smells very different but warm and comforting or as David D would put it...different in a positive way. You can't go wrong with this one.

This is one of those fragrances that you cannot help but like. It very pleasant to wear and is not "controversial" in any way. It will definitely not give you a headache. I say that because I have a very sensitive nose and not so perfect sinuses which basically means that I cannot stand strong fragrances. The downside is that the fragrance does not last very long. You'd have to stick your face inside your shirt to smell the fragrance after say three hours. But this fragrance is definitely worth a try...especially if you are looking for a fragrance for daily wear as opposed to say party wear.More detail ...

Fresh and classy

Before I start this review let me point out a few things about myself. I am 16 and only own six different types of cologne (though I have tested about 20 and all of which are of some major brand). That said I must say that this scent is one of my favorite. I was looking for a strong summer scent and had figured that if anything would deliver it would be Dolce and Gabbana. So I tested last week in a Marshall Fields department store near me. Then after trying Emporio White from Armani and Metal Jeans from Versace (both of which were very light scents that could hardly be detected) I went back and purchased a full bottle of Dolce and Gabbana pour homme. The scent is actually quite strong and long lasting (I can still smell it on my shirt right now and it is 11pm and I had put this on at 10 this morning). It very citrus but is not so overpowering that it smells cheap or chemical. The scent also has a sophisticated quality to it.

While this may be best suited in small amounts for business purposes or evenings out for more mature people I find that using multiple sprays of D&G can really make a scent to grab people's attention.



So to some up this is a fresh sophisticated citrus scent.

Okay I am a bit biased because I have a soft spot for Polo products but the Polo Black is arguably the best I have used in years. And I use and finish a new cologne every month. The after smell is great it is not overpowering it is great in the morning and in the evening. Plus it doesn't hang on your clothes so if you wear your shirt again it doesn't have this "hanging" smell. For the first time in years I am going to use the same cologne for 2 consecutive months! Superb Quality Love every bit of this scent...

I don't know what happened to the previous reviewers but based on their reviews I was very concerned to say the least about buying this cologne from Amazon well I emailed Amazon with my concern and they replied within 2 hours and assured me that all of their colognes and perfumes are bought directly from the manufacturers and 100% authentic.



So I bought this and other 5 perfumes and colognes and I couldn't be happier about my products all of them are originals and new and sealed.



Now about this cologne it is INCREDIBLE!!! I have a nice collection of colognes and this is up there with the best in my collection like Armani Code Polo Double Black and Kenneth Cole Black Hugo 212 Sexy to name a few (I'm very anal about my colognes) I bought this scent based on the comments from Sephora.com buyers and this is also one of Sephora's best of 2008.



I don't know how to describe this scent with another word but Sexy! Excellent Fragrgance

Owned this a long time ago and decided to purchase it again. I'm happy I did. I cannot believe I went so long without this cologne. From now on I will always have bottle. I'm Not Much of a Cologne Wearer....

but I love this cologne. It's hard to review something like this considering that it all smells different on different people but Black Code is a nice mellow scent that isn't overpowering or distracting at all. I get so many compliments when I wear this out. I'd compare it to a Preferred Stock but less potent. Black Code is a little more than I'd normally spend on something like this but it's worth it!
